23 Are they teachers?
I’m talking like a madwoman or madman —I’m a better one: with far more lesson plans, many more professional developments, far worse classroom space, near exhaustion many times. 24 Five times I received 39 criticisms from parents. 25 Three times I lost my entire grade book in Infinite Campus. Once I was kicked by a student. Three times I was cursed by a student. I have spent a night and a day in my classroom. 26 Over the years, I faced abusive parents, students from poor homes, long drives to school, late night ball games, science fairs, KTIP, fights on the playground, dangers on the bus, and criticism from other teachers ; 27 labor and hardship, many sleepless nights, hunger and thirst, often without food, cold, and lacking clothing. 28 Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my own concern for my students.
